Clean Tofino Supervisor
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to join our team at Clean Tofino. We clean short term rentals in Tofino. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing workflow, providing effective training to new hires, and fostering a positive work environment. As a Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in upholding our quality standards, ensuring efficient team dynamics, and contributing to the overall success of Clean Tofino.
Key Responsibilities:
Training and Mentorship:
- Conduct comprehensive training sessions for staff on check-out cleans, walk-through, and deep cleans.
- Provide refresher training as needed to maintain proficiency.
- Uphold Clean Tofino's quality through regular walk-throughs to ensure standards are met.
Human Resources and Team Dynamics:
- Foster positive team dynamics, effective communication, and conflict resolution.
- Manage team time effectively to meet cleaning deadlines through triaging and delegation.
- Host morning meetings and schedule a team member to lead in the absence of the supervisor and manager.
- Generate monthly progress reports for staff and conduct weekly meetings with the manager.
Responsibility Breakdown:
- Collaborate with our business consultant to ensure effective training on Clean Tofino’s systems, procedures, and standards.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to quality standards and procedures among staff.
- Identify and schedule refresher training as necessary to uphold quality.
- Implement various tools, including walk-throughs, performance reports, and incentives, to ensure and incentive quality cleaning practices.
Communication and Engagement:
- Serve as the primary communication link for staff, fostering open communication and respect.
- Explore and expand incentive programs that contribute to a positive work environment.
- Prioritize and adapt to the dynamic nature of short-term rental cleaning, triaging team members as needed to meet deadlines.
Meetings and Reporting:
- Provide detailed and accurate monthly progress reports for staff, utilizing digital platforms.
- Engage in weekly meetings with the manager and other communication tools provided.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
- Strong work ethic.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning industry standards and best practices.
This is a full time position at $22/hour with a private suite that is subsidized accommodation.
