Job description

Home Hardware has an exciting opportunity available for a Dealer Services Support – Representative. Reporting to the Supervisor, Dealer Services, you will be responsible for providing fast and accurate operational information and excellent customer support to our Dealers and their staff.

Please note we have a preference for someone who can accommodate a 9.30am – 6:00pm shift.

What you’ll do:

  • Member of a team working in a Call Centre environment using Call Centre Software.
  • Assist Dealers with their inquiries on all operational and business needs.
  • Offer a concierge service by providing personal assistance to Dealers and Territory Managers.
  • Accurate logging of requests through a Customer Relationship Management software
  • Work closely with all departments to provide timely information to Home Dealers on product, stock availability, PO's, Dealer orders, order problems, special services offered.
  • Assist Dealers with the processing of Special Orders, Courier Orders, and Demand Orders.
  • Assist with planning, scheduling, and keying of Opening Orders, Fill-In Orders and Celebration Event orders.
  • Generate reports based on requests from Retail Field Teams and Dealers (balance of sales and gross margin report, and Multi-Store Comparison Report).
  • Provide operational assistance and information for Dealers on Home’s various Gift Card and Loyalty Card programs.
  • Assist Dealers with their Moneris On-Boarding needs and financial settlement issues concerning Home Gift Card, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Debit Cards. Second level support is also provided for Dealer terminal support.


What we’re looking for:

  • Knowledge of Home Hardware's systems and services with a commitment to providing excellent service to our Home’s Dealers is required.
  • Two to three years’ experience providing excellent support within a customer service role would be an asset.
  • Ability to multi-task and adjust to changing needs, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong computer and typing skills with excellent communication skills in English are essential.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, with prior experience with Oracle, WM, and Home’s internal systems.
