LOCATION:Centennial Honda, Summerside, PEI.
HOURS: Full time, permanent, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (40 hours per week)
WAGES: $45,000 - $65,000 salary + benefits per year (negotiable based on experience and qualifications)

APPLICABLE SKILLS:
- Post-secondary education in Business/Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (primarily Excel) and in Google Workspace
- Must be dependable and able to work independently
- Ability to proactively identify problems, develop solutions and act to resolve issues in assigned areas
- Good organizational skills, analytical skills, time management and prioritization abilities.
- Balances team and individual responsibilities
JOB TASKS:
- Support the dealership’s sales and service departments by maintaining the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions with data entry, customer inquiries, vendor research and statement reconciliations
- Prepares general ledger journal entries, periodic balance sheet account reconciliations
- Assist in the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
- Assist with reviewing of expenses etc. as assigned
- Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed.
- Prepare and submit reports as required.
- Propose new ideas as you see fit to improve the efficiency of the department overall.
- Assists with sales tax compliance
