SalaryOur brand new privately owned office is looking to hire an enthusiastic Dental Receptionist. He/She will be responsible for scheduling patients’ appointments appropriately based on patients' needs. The responsibilities also include entering patient information into Dentrix, answering patients’ questions, and preparing referrals to other dental specialists.
We are looking for an individual that possess strong customer service skills, have a positive attitude, ability to multi-task and work well in a team environment. Previous dental experience is an asset but not compulsory. The succesful candidate will be trained.
Hours are Monday to Friday. 9am to 5pm. Weekend as needed
Dental Receptionist Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice.
Scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments as needed.
Assisting patients to fill out information forms.
Updating patient records and documenting recent treatments and procedures.
Scheduling follow-up appointments and providing telephonic reminders.
Communicating with dental insurance providers to determine if patients are required to make co-payments.
Verifying methods of payment and collecting payments as needed.
Performing general office duties, such as answering telephones, photocopying, filing, and faxing.
