You as an 'EIDA Coordinator' will:

  • Collaborate with HR, hiring managers, and department heads to develop and implement EIDA initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and Inclusion in the workplace
  • Coordinate outreach efforts to attract diverse talent, including partnerships with community organizations and educational institutions.
  • Collect and analyze data related to the hiring and career progression of underrepresented groups.
  • Provide additional administrative support to the project.
  • Establish and maintain excellent relationships with Industry Training Authorities, Employment agencies and members of the EIDA Advisory Committee for the purpose of meeting EIDA Thresholds on the Project.
  • Coordinate and exchange information with Project Auditors and third-party survey firms.
  • Attend and Lead EIDA Initial Kick-off Meeting, Monthly meetings, and Annual meetings with EIDA Advisory Committee.
  • Prepare and present EIDA Monthly Performance Report to the Authority and EIDA Advisory Committee.
  • Prepare and Present the EIDA Annual Submission of Plans and Policies to the Authority and EIDA Advisory Committee.
  • Coordinate all the communications required to implement the EIDA Service Plan both internally and through subcontractors.

Is this the right role for you?

  • Proven experience in diversity, equity, and Inclusion initiatives within a corporate or organizational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to collect and interpret data.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Construction Industry experience would be an asset.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Certificate in Equity, Diversity & Inclusion would be an asset.
