POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Device Management Coordinator maintains day to day operations by troubleshooting and managing the mobile devices of team members, as well as training staff on the use of their mobile devices. This role is essential as our field staff use their devices every shift. The ideal candidate will have a great customer service mindset, and also be tech savvy. Candidates with experience at mobile phone booths (troubleshooting, set up, maintenance), and who also have background in Microsoft Office would be a great fit.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Monitor mobility device programs through Alerts Management systems and advise Branch Management on device usage and performance.
  • Inventory control, activation, deployment, and de-activation of mobile devices.
  • Track retrieval of devices from inactive and terminated employees.
  • Identify relevant training needs, documentation, and opportunities.
  • Provide training to new staff during the Onboarding Process
  • Troubleshoot basic issues with devices as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS


  • Travel to Etobicoke office location every Tuesday to support the field staff.
  • May need to conduct and attend presentations.
  • Manual dexterity required to use computers, mobile devices, and other devices.
  • Overtime may be required at times.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS


  • Post-secondary education preferred.
  • Computer Science background will be an asset, but not required
  • Costumer service excellence.
  • Experience with the troubleshooting, set up, and maintenance of mobile devices.
  • 2 years of direct work experience as a corporate/branch trainer is a plus.
