Summary of Duties:
  • Operate Biz Hub Presses with Fiery RIP to output/process files on a variety of substrates
  • Operate Wide Format Poster printer (Currently Epson P-10000) to output/process on a variety of substrates
  • Operate a variety of finishing equipment including but not limited to: Laminator, Hole Punch and Paper cutting machinery and document binding equipment
  • Perform tasks related to mounting of documents/posters to foam core substrate, numbering and a variety of other hand assembly of printed materials
  • Provide customer service to WCH staff and external clients
  • Process customer payments, create invoices and packing slips
  • Performs routine deliveries of printing supplies to the WCH departments and clients in the immediate vicinity
  • Monitor supplies for devices across hospital
  • This position reports to the Manager, Print Services – Information Management Department. In the absence of the Manager, the position takes direction from the Digital Print Operator – Lead Hand for the scheduling and processing of work

  • Demonstrated record of good performance and acceptable attendance will be considered as part of the selection criteria
  • Professional behaviour and communication that meets the standards of the professional regulatory college or association, as applicable, and the standards of Women’s College Hospital
  • This position plays a critical role in acting as an advocate for safety and will demonstrate principles, practices and processes that will optimize a safe environment for all
