We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Digital Commerce Product Owner to lead the development and implementation of digital strategies aimed at driving lead generation and online sales for our Softchoice.com website.  
The preferred candidate should have a strong digital background, showcasing expertise in executing digital transformation initiatives on the web. They should possess a skill set encompassing a profound understanding of UX/UI design principles, SEO strategies, and AODA Standards, along with proficiency in utilizing content management systems (CMS).


What You'll Do:
 

Product Ownership:

Take ownership of developing a digital web experience to impact lead generation and online sales, while overseeing the entire product lifecycle.
Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring features align with strategic goals.
Work collaboratively with UX/UI leader to enhance the customer experience and design across digital platforms, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
Conduct competitive research, user research and gather feedback to inform design decisions and optimize user journeys.
Content Management Systems (CMS):

Create an experience to manage and optimize content delivery through CMS, ensuring a consistent and compelling digital presence.
Collaborate with content creators and editors to ensure alignment with Digital Strategy.
Conversion Optimization:

Implement strategies to optimize conversion rates through A/B testing, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Work closely with analytics teams to measure and report on key performance indicators.
Stakeholder Collaboration:

Collaborate with marketing, sales, and IT teams to ensure alignment between digital strategies and broader business objectives.
Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback for continuous improvement.
Project Management:

Effectively manage digital projects from concept to delivery, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget.
Coordinate with development teams to implement digital enhancements and features.


What You'll Need:
 

Proven experience as a Digital Product Owner or similar role in a lead generation and online sales context.
Familiarity with content management systems and their integration into digital strategies.
Digital Expertise:

Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, and e-commerce principles.
In-depth knowledge of UX/UI design principles and best practices.
Knowledge of AODA standards and commitment to ensuring digital accessibility for all users.
CMS Proficiency:

Experience with popular Content Management Systems, ensuring efficient content publishing and updates.
Analytical Skills:

Proficient in using analytics tools to measure and analyze digital performance.
Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
Communication Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong presentation skills for reporting and pitching digital strategies.
Design Principles:

Understanding of design principles to ensure a visually appealing and user-friendly digital interface.
Collaborate with design teams to align visual elements with brand guidelines.
Adaptability:

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Innovative mindset, constantly seeking opportunities for improvement.
