Year round work, based out of our Regina office.
We are looking for experienced HDD locators and drillers for telecom drop installations for this upcoming season. FTTP work.
The purpose of the Driller/Locator is to perform the coordination and installation of underground conduit, cables and utilities.
Mandatory Qualifications:
Grade 12 or equivalent
Valid Drivers' License.
Must be able to pass criminal record check
2+ years experience operating Horizontal Directional drilling and/or Locating equipment - equipment and locating equipment must be detailed
Experience in a telecom or utilities environment
Must be able to lift 50lbs
Nice to have:
Class 1A or air brake endorsement
Experience running construction or earthworks equipment
Experience running hydro vac equipment.
Additional safety training certifications. ie) ground disturbance, confined space, etc
Ability to perform minor mechanical maintenance
Primary equipment you will be using are newer model Ditch Witch and Vermeer directional drills.
Pay is a competitive piece rate.
