About our client
Our client is a global travel & tourism data and analytics company. They help hundreds of tourism organizations navigate change and accelerate tourism by providing comprehensive tourism data (via their insights platform) and by providing a full suite of related consulting services.
Deliverables
- Lead to manage software implementations across a number of global clients
- Lead a team of 10 (direct and indirect) reports, both technical and non-technical
- Responsible for project scoping, revenue forecasting, resource management, and overall financial management of client projects
- Ensure client satisfaction and adoption of solutions roadmap
About you
- 10+ years of direct experience leading complex business intelligence implementation projects for a consulting firm, agency, or related company
- Strong leadership presence with a demonstrated history of working with external clients and business partners at the executive level (e.g., VP, SVP, CDO)
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate advanced technical concepts to non-technical audiences and large groups
- Outstanding negotiation and influencing skills, including the ability to build consensus between diverse client stakeholder groups and de-escalate situations when issues arise
- Outstanding people management and leadership skills, including the ability to develop and motivate diverse multi-country/cultural teams
- Ability to thrive in a remote matrixed environment and manage multiple priority efforts effectively under pressure
- Demonstrated successes in requirements analysis, project management, and overall engagement delivery
- Strategic thinker who constantly challenges clients and teams to improve
- Self-starter and results-driven
Nice to have
- Knowledge of the tourism sector and Tourism Destination Management Organization (DMO) business is a plus
- Deep understanding of business intelligence technology platforms, data governance, and business intelligence operations
