Job description

Dutch Growers is one of Canada's largest and most diverse Garden centers with a focus on creating a sense of joy and relaxation while assisting our clients with their plants, plant accessories and home & garden solutions as well as women's fashion and decor. We have high standards for cleanliness, merchandising and most importantly customer care. This role is to help facilitate the direction of these standards and assist our team with their day to day needs as valued employees.

There is a seasonality to our business that requires all applications to understand that the spring and Christmas season are critical to our business and this role will require working weekends and/or occasional evenings in the pre spring and pre holiday months in order to ensure equal training of all team members

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent

-Provide consistent feedback and assisitance ot the superviors and team leads specifically with regard to company culture and brand values
- Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding
- Collaborate with department leaders to identify training and development needs and create programs to address them
- Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations
- Manage employee relations issues and provide guidance to managers on best practices
-complete biweekly payroll and over see sick days/holiday day and so on
- organize all paperwork & travel plans for migrant workers

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field;
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Excellent administrative skills with attention to detail
- Demonstrated program management skills
- Ability to effectively supervise a team of superiorly staff and entry level team members

Salary: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
