Director Of Leasing - Clemow Ottawa

The Director of Leasing will have the primary responsibility Of Leasing the KTS’s new residential 50+ project, Clemow. Clemow is a 50+ lifestyle luxury rental with 158 apartments. In this capacity the Director of Leasing will work in close collaboration with the senior management team and construction group department, as well as directly manage a leasing agent. This person will be leading the leasing of CLEMOW by creating relationships with the clients and using their high sales-closing skills to ensure that the leasing goals are achieved. This person will oversee ensuring good partnerships with brokerage firms, associations, clientele, and good ambassadors of the project. We’re looking for someone with the skills of potentially becoming the Property Manager of CLEMOW and oversee the wellbeing of the building and its clientele on a daily manner.

Daily this person’s key responsibility is:

Ensure that the leasing of the project is being led according to company standard,

Follow-up with clients and sign leases according to company standard,

Manage and supervising scheduling and leasing agent,

Capable of managing a small team (1 to 10 members)

Promote the project through participation at local events, creating and hosting events internally in our sales office, inviting potential clients for visits and events, ensuring that the necessary outreach in being obtained through participation and hosting of various events organised by the Leasing Director.

Managing the sales office (cleanliness, maintenance requests, inventory)

Approving all lease documents and ensuring that all administrative and legal documents are being filled out according to standard,

Ensuring that leasing goals are being attained on a weekly manner,

Take the lead on the whole leasing process and department by ensuring all necessary task are being accomplished and supervised.

Has qualifications to be the property manager of the project.

Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of progressive work experience in leasing (or property management) on either the landlord or brokerage side
  • Established, strong network of contacts within the Ottawa real estate community, associations, and local events
  • Excellent business acumen demonstrated by a solid understanding Of Leasing, networking, property management, and leadership
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills including negotiation and persuasion, capable of selling ideas and recommendations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong team-building skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
