We are currently interviewing a Disk Maker to join our team.
Location: Burlington ON
Pay Rate: $21.50/ hour (offering premium for afternoon shift of $0.50/ hour)
Shift: Monday to Friday-6:45AM to 3:15PM for one month training , then 3PM to 1:30PM Monday to Thursday
Benefits: Pension, Medical/ Dental, RRSP match and Vision care after the 3 month probation
Start Date: Immediately
Daily Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints and apply advanced math skills
- Maintain and check stock to determine what is needed
- Maintain product documents
- Completing production logs
- Correct minor equipment problems, such as clearing jammed discs; and perform routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
Education and Experience:
- Highschool diploma, post secondary is an asset
- 1-2 years experience in a fast pace environment
- ability to work safely in a senior manufacturing environment
- able to read blue prints and do advanced math

- Physically capable of performing essential duties, including lifting and carrying.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Adherence to instructions and effective communication, both verbal and written.
