Tillsonburg Alliance Church (TAC) is a multi-generational, 150 plus person community of believers located in the heart of Southwestern Ontario. Various Christian groups – from traditional denominations to
Mennonites to Dutch Reformed – are present in the area and people from these (and other) backgrounds are increasingly a part of our church community.

The Town of Tillsonburg is a growing community of more than 20,000 people with an economy powered by manufacturing, the surrounding agricultural region, connection to larger urban centers (Woodstock,
London, etc.) and increasing in-migration from throughout Ontario.

The Tillsonburg Alliance Church is seeking a permanent Intergenerational and Discipleship Pastor to provide spiritual leadership and equipping of leaders targeted towards Family (children, youth and their parents), Worship and Outreach Ministries. The successful candidate must have a strong, intimate relationship with Jesus Christ and who strongly adheres to God’s word, possesses strong interpersonal relational skills, values unity, has a passion for building teams and leaders, and has demonstrated administrative, technological and abilities.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

a. Experience, either as a leader or in a supporting role, in ministry

b. Good interpersonal skills and decision-making abilities

c. Ability to multi-task and deal with a variety of projects at one time

d. Ability to work independently and solve problems creatively.

e. Strong organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to follow through.

f. Excellent communication skills used to ensure timely and effective communication with staff, leadership, parents, youth, the congregation and community.

g. Good presentation skills

h. Able to represent the Tillsonburg Alliance Church in a professional, consistent and positive manner inside and outside the organization.

i. Proficient in Microsoft programs and the ability to learn new software applications.

j. Adheres to all TAC policies and procedures.

k. Performs other duties as assigned by The Lead Pastor

ACCREDITATION

a. Theological or related degree or diploma

b. Minimum one (1) year experience in pastoral ministry (preferably Alliance)

c. Has references from previous boards or church staff that support call to ministry.

d. Fully accredited with the Christian & Missionary Alliance or willing to promptly engage with obtaining accreditation.

Salary: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
