Role: As a Dishwasher, you will be an integral part of our kitchen team, ensuring a seamless flow of operations by keeping dishware, utensils, and kitchen equipment clean and sanitized. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness contribute directly to the overall success of our establishment.
Responsibilities:
- Wash and sanitize all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly, ensuring health and safety standards compliance.
- Operate industrial dishwashing equipment efficiently and safely.
- Sort and stack clean dishes and utensils in designated storage areas.
- Assist with the organization and maintenance of kitchen inventory.
- Empty and clean trash containers regularly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and well-coordinated workflow.
- Report any kitchen equipment or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow proper sanitation and hygiene procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Adhere to established cleaning schedules and routines.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a dishwasher in a restaurant or similar setting is preferred but not required.
- Ability to operate industrial dishwashing equipment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations in a kitchen environment.
