DEPARTMENT: Back of House
REPORTS TO: Executive Chef / Sous Chef / General Manager

POSITION PURPOSE
Working with a team of cooks to maintain an organized and highly functional workspace
Running dishes, pots, pans, cutlery etc. through a dishwasher, ensuring proper cleanliness of dishware and cutlery. Ensuring the items are being stored in the right places once cleaned. Keeping up with the flow of the restaurant, making sure the kitchen staff has their pots and pans washed and available in time.
Qualification Requirements and Job Function:
- Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
- Work or schooling equivalent experience in food prep
- Ability to multi-task
- Following controls to minimize food and supply waste
- Following health and safety guidelines as directed by the Executive Chef and Sous Chef(s)
- General understanding of the restaurant, pub, and hospitality industry
- A good working knowledge of current applicable health laws
- Punctual, reliable and professional
- Encourage and uphold a safe work environment while adhering to company policy around bullying and harassment
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $17.50 per hour
