Dishwasher

Hastings House's gourmet restaurant, Manor Dining, is hiring full-time dishwashers.

The position would be best suited to someone who has previous dish washing experience and is interested in furthering their knowledge in culinary arts.

As part of the Kitchen Team at Manor Dining, you will assist the kitchen staff in maintaining a clean, sanitary environment, washing dishes as they come in from service, and tidying at close. The right candidate will be respectful, punctual, clean and organized. Must be available during evenings and weekends.

Duties

· Running the automatic washer and hand cleaning larger items

· Cleaning surfaces and counters

· Organization of kitchenware and dishes

· End of shift clean-up and tidying

· Assisting the Dining Manager in any way possible

Qualifications

· Able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

· Able to work cooperatively and collaboratively with the culinary team

· Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs/13.6 kgs

· Consistent punctuality

· A friendly, communicative demeanor

· Flexible schedule, morning and evening shifts, plus weekends

Contract length: 9 months

Salary: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
