We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Kitchen Helper to join our team. As a Kitchen Helper, you will assist in food preparation, handling, and service in a fast-paced restaurant or hotel kitchen environment. Your primary responsibility will be to support the cooks and other kitchen staff in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen.
```Responsibilities```
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and assembling ingredients
- Help with cooking tasks such as frying, or baking as directed by the cooks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment
- Stock and replenish food supplies and ingredients as needed
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries of food and supplies
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow and timely service
```Qualifications```
- Previous experience in a hospitality or food service setting is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
