Dispatch Administrator

Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for order entry/creation in TruckMate.
• You will assign orders to trips in TruckMate and sequence the schedule.
• Generate paperwork for the PM warehouse team to stage runs.
• Work with Customer Service to cover same day requests and confirm availability to cover all requests.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience; in a Dispatch role or similar
• Experience in Transportation Management system, Truck Mate would be an asset
• Knowledgeable in geographic areas of NS - especially Halifax
• Proven organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical, problem solving and multitasking skills
• Solid oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment
• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
• Work well under pressure

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

Salary: $18.50 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
