Dispatcher/Delivery Driver

Our Petawawa, ON location is currently recruiting for a full-time Dispatcher/Delivery Driver. Dispatchers work closely with our Delivery Drivers and Shuttle Operators to coordinate all outgoing deliveries. Delivery Drivers are responsible for the efficient delivery of our products (both parts and accessories) to our customers.

As a member of our team the Dispatcher/Delivery Driver will organize, schedule and expedite deliveries of all outgoing parts, and will also:

• Ensure accurate delivery of all invoices
• Perform pre-trip inspections of vehicles
• Satisfy customer concerns and/or queries with respect to deliveries
• Assist with scheduling and planning for staffing availability and coverage
• Prepare product orders for delivery/shipment
• Execute local deliveries on a pre-determined route
• Assist in preparing outgoing shipments for Purolator in addition to other stores
• Other duties as required

• Strong organizational skills
• Confidence and aptitude to work unsupervised and independently
• Experience working in a team-based environment
• Excellent knowledge of regional geographic area
• Superior time-management skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Valid Class G driver’s permit
• Previous experience as a Delivery Driver
• Previous automotive experience (an asset)
• Knowledge of automotive parts and accessories (an asset)
• Knowledge of tools and equipment (an asset)
