Our industry leading client is a national wholesale distributor of equipment, and products that service the residential, commercial, and mechanical sectors. With a history of strategic growth and strong leadership, this high-profile distributor is looking to add a Divisional Pricing Manager role to further support their Sales, Marketing & Operations to further grow and support their well-established customer base.

Reporting to the Regional Vice President, the Divisional Pricing Manager will assist in the implementation and ongoing improvement of a best-in-class pricing process to improve profitability through pricing management across the business unit. The individual will be responsible for applying analytical methods and tools necessary to translate the data into clear, actionable insights. Additionally, the individual will make recommendations to the internal stakeholders to streamline pricing process and ensure best practices are being implemented

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the marketing and sales teams on providing quotes, pricing information, supporting documents, contract expiry dates, etc.
• Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of company product lines and pricing promotions
• Maintain and update all pricing and contract information in the company systems to ensure tracking, approvals, and quotations are accurate
• Utilizing MS Office & ERP Software to input pricing so branches are able to track and have reliable data
• Develop price plans and set targets for different divisions & product lines
• Work with Internal stakeholders to develop pricing promotions and follow up on their implementation
• Work with other business units to resolve any pricing issues that may arise
• Perform financial evaluations to assess effectiveness of pricing actions
• Use several different tools to analyze a sizeable quantity of data; examine and evaluate prices, profitability and competitive trends and maintain specific KPI’S related to margin measurement and improvement within the division

REQUIREMENTS:

• University Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or another related field
• 3+ years of experience with Pricing and Contracts
• 2+ years of management supervisory experience or working in a leadership capacity
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
• Excellent organization and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Previous knowledge of Wholesale HVAC or Plumbing would be an asset
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook, as well as a familiarity with ERP systems
