Jan Lake Lodge is looking for energetic, out going hard working people for the 2024 season. The lodge is situated in the beautiful boreal forest in north east Saskatchewan. Jan lake offers pristine waters, incredible scenery, world class fishing and one of a kind sunsets. The lodge offers cabin, boat and motor rental as well as campgrounds. Were currently seeking staff for the dock positions. All positions require good interpersonal skills as well as customer service. With all positions any previous experience is an asset, for dock hands on experience with power tools or small engines is a benefit. Some heavy lifting is also required. Those that are able to join us will get their own room including kitchenette and bathroom. Were also offering a bonus of $500 to anyone who is able to complete the full season, May 12th to September 30th
What you will do:
General maintenance (light carpentry, plumbing, painting)
Groundskeeping and yard work
Clean and maintain fishing boats
Fish filleting an asset, training can be provided
Guest services
What we look for:
We focus on customer service - the ability to interact with our guests in a professional and friendly manner is the most important qualification for this position
This is a physically demanding job so must be able to perform manual labour and work outside in all conditions
Maintenance or construction experience an asset, but not required. Willingness to learn new skills
A love of the outdoors, fishing and overall good attitude
