Exciting Opportunity Alert! Our client in Saint John is actively seeking a dynamic Document Control Coordinator to join their team on a full-time basis.
The Document Control Coordinator with various stakeholders across the organization in the control and management of critical content, documents or records and facilitates this approach through established programs.
The ideal candidate must possess knowledge in the Oil, Gas, and Energy Sector, as well as proficiency in Electronic Document Management Systems. Additionally, they should have 1-2 years of experience in a related postsecondary field.

Salary: $21.00 - $22.00
Location: Saint John, NB
Shifts: Monday – Friday | 8:30am – 5:00pm

Duties and Responsibilities:
Assigning and controlling Document standard numbering system defined by Irving Oil
Quality check of documents such as PID, Engineering drawings, Vendor documentation and work packages to verify completeness and accuracy of data.
Monitor due dates for drawings, work packages, technical manuals, and other documents.
Manage the flow of correspondence into and out of the Company; ensure outgoing documents are accurate, comply with company standards and policies, to protect and secure confidential and proprietary information.
Organize, maintain, and safeguard files and databases.
Monitors status of project to ensure documentation is submitted according to schedules.
Reviews and verifies project documents for completeness, format, and compliance with contract requirements.
Submits project documentation to management for approval and transmits approved documents to customer.
Publish/Retain documentation within Documentum – Electronic Document Management System
Qualifications & Skills:
Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
Records and database management
Strong organization skills
Strong attention to detail.
Experience in Supply management processes
Knowledge in the Oil, Gas and Energy Sector
Work experience as a Document Controller an asset
Familiarity with Project Management and Engineering
Experience using MS Office and MS Excel, Access and Power Bi
Knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems
1-2 years + experience with related postsecondary
