POSITION: Document Control Specialist
REPORTS TO: Director, Projects or designate
We are looking for a Document Control Specialist to join our Projects team! The Document Control Specialist will be responsible for collecting, updating, and consolidating equipment documentation across all locations, and creating accessible resources for the team.

NICE-TO-HAVE
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment
- Engineering/Maintenance knowledge or background
THINGS YOU WILL DO…
- Complete equipment documentation for all production lines
- Write accurate documentation on equipment such as operation and safety manuals
- Compile equipment trouble shooting guides and theory of operation documents
- Work closely with project team members to understand machine functionality
- Define equipment wear tolerances and performance targets
- Communicate with stakeholders in the Engineering, Projects and Operations teams
- Be part of a team to train operators on existing and new equipment
- Understand and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment if needed
- Develop and implement a document distribution and approval matric system for the project team
- Manage the distribution matrix and conduct quality audits
- Develop procedures for document management and ensure compliance
- Research and implement an electronic document management system
- Develop and implement an audit process to ensure compliance of implemented systems
- All other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
