Dog Bather/Receptionist

We are seeking a Bather/Receptionist to join our team! You will be responsible for assisting the groomer complete grooming services, assisting customers with booking/paying for appointments, as well as maintaining the standard of service at our facility.

Location is now 226 Speedvale Ave W, unit 9

Responsibilities:

• Handle general care tasks such as bathing and drying the animals to be groomed
• Assist in restraining animals if needed to help ensure a safe visit for humans and animals involved
• Assist groomer with any other basic grooming needs if asked
• Keep records of client visits as well as organize files
• Answer phone calls & client questions
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment
• Assist customers with scheduling appointments
• Collect payment for services

Qualifications:

• Min 1 year experience in the pet grooming industry
• Passion to help animals
• Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently as well as take instruction
• Friendly/Trustworthy/Reliable
• Ability to talk to customers in a professional and approachable manner

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
