Hourly wage from $18.00 to $22.00 (Plus Tips) depending on experience

Big League Food Company is seeking a Part-time Sourdough Dough Mixer with bread-baking experience to join our Dear Grain Bakery. We are looking for someone caring, passionate, and dynamic who is interested in committing themselves to the craft of making artisan sourdough bread.

Key Responsibilities

The Dough mixer is responsible for the first stage of making our bread. It's a very responsible role as our whole production depends on the quality of the dough the mixer makes.

· 2 years of professional kitchen experience

· 1-year experience in bread baking and dough mixing

· Culinary/ baking education is preferred

· Dependability and punctuality are a must

· Fit and Physically Strong able to lift 50 lbs - very physical role

· A person who likes structure and repetition

· Ability to multitask and operate at a fast pace when needed

· Detail oriented, and able to follow recipes and scale correctly is essential

· The mixer will mix multiple batches of dough during the shift

· We use 3 mixers that hold 50-160 kg of dough to make 3-4 types of dough

· Injury free

Schedule availability:

· Part-Time Approx. 20 - 25hr

· Possibility to grow into FT post-training

· 4 days availability, preferably Mon/Tue/Fri/Saturday

· Availability between Early Morning-afternoon

· Shift Length 5-6hr

· Shift time is usually 6:30 am -12:30 pm

· The ideal candidate would be available for a 4 am shift start & can substitute occasionally
