Borderline Surveys is seeking a skilled Survey/Civil Draftsman to join our team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in drafting.

Responsibilities:

• Drafting legal plans, including subdivision plans, Crown surveys, and tentative plans, road Plans, Topographic and site plans, using AutoCAD and Civil3D.
• Preparing and dealing with shapefiles, field data and client Caddfiles
• Providing support to survey crews in the field
• Coordinating with project managers to ensure projects are completed within timelines and budgets.
• Communicating with co-workers to understand their needs and provide updates on project status.
• Maintaining accurate project records and files
• Participating in quality control and quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet required standards.

Qualifications:

• Understanding of Alberta Land Titles plan standards and submission process.
• Understanding Crown survey standards and submission process.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil3D
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Familiarity with legal surveying procedures an asset
• Field background an asset

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: $36.00-$44.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
