Interacting with both individuals and businesses, the Donation Pickup Driver (we call them Donation Ambassadors!) is routinely the first in-person connection between the ReStore and our donors. Your contribution to the donor experience begins with the receipt of donations and the care and tact with which you manage each pickup or delivery. A key point of contact, you are the face of Habitat for Humanity in the community. Your manner conveys professionalism on the job and appreciation of our donors. Your service-based approach extends to every aspect of your role, whether assisting customers with loading and unloading and/or delivery at their homes and places of business or at the ReStore receiving door. The majority of your time will be spent executing deliveries and pickups, with time each week dedicated to processing donated items through receiving to the ReStore floor. While generally based at the store, you are also available for occasional deliveries and pickups beyond HFHOGN territory or between other HFHOGN ReStores.
