Overview:
As a core member of the Driver Pay Team, the successful candidate will have one main function:
1) On a weekly basis, supporting the payroll process of reviewing and approving trip reports to ensure that all company drivers are paid in a timely and accurate manner.
Core Duties:
· Review and process weekly driver trip reports in the Company’s ERP system
· Investigate and resolve any trip report errors by working cross-functionally with other Company departments
· Maintain and update Driver Pay profiles
· Ensure all source deductions and benefit rates are current in the Company’s ERP system
· Scanning supporting documentation into the Company’s ERP system
· Support the Driver Pay Supervisor with ad hoc task and project requests, as required
Qualifications:
· College or University diploma / degree in business or accounting is preferred
· Payroll designation, completion of some payroll courses or prior payroll experience considered an asset
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, etc.)
· Strong computer skills working with accounting software
· Experience in trucking industry considered an asset
