Driver/Merchandiser

Location:Prince Albert, SK

Position Status: Full Time, Permanent

POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting directly to the Management team of PBD, the Driver/Merchandiser is primarily responsible for delivery of pre ordered product to assigned accounts, stocking, merchandising and rotating product. Over-night travel and Over-time is required.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Check accuracy and stability of the load;
• Deliver products to customer; stocking shelves;
• Manage product in customer premises, rotating inventory by date code in order to limit returns of outdated stock;
• Adhere to good manufacturing practices and safety standards;
• Responsible for meeting productivity requirements;
• Maintaining and cleaning assigned delivery vehicle to ensure it properly represents PBD in the trade;
• Other related duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Commercial license with air (Class1) with a clean drivers abstract
• 1+ years of commercial driving experience preferred
• Local delivery experience preferred
• Must be able to repetitively lift up to 60lbs
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Must be customer service orientated
• The ability to work with minimal supervision
