Position: Drug & Alcohol Test Administrator
Hours: Monday to Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm
Status: 1.0 Full-Time; Permanent
Location: Edmonton, AB

About the Role:
As a Drug & Alcohol Test Administrator, you'll be the first point of contact, greeting clients with a warm welcome and ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for from the moment they step through the door. From administering drug and alcohol testing to supporting your team members with other occupational health services, you’ll be at the heart of keeping our clients’ workforce in tip-top shape!

As a Drug & Alcohol Test Administrator, you will:

  • Greet clients as they arrive for their occupational testing appointment providing an exceptional first impression

  • Complete the client intake process which includes verifying client identity, creating client files and completing the necessary paperwork as required
  • Collect breath, urine, oral fluid, and hair specimens following standard chain of custody protocols
  • Administer specimen validity testing and point-of-care testing ensuring the accurate interpretation of test results and application of log protocols
  • Support team members with the administration of other occupational testing services including vision screening, respiratory fit testing and pre-medical assessments (blood pressure, height, weight, etc.)
  • Effectively resolve client conflicts with a calm and professional demeanour
  • Adhere to strict privacy and confidentiality protocols when handling sensitive client information such as personal details and test results
  • Support a variety of administrative functions including inventory counts, record management, client support and other tasks as required

What you’ll bring:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • Certificate or Diploma in Medical Office Administration or equivalent considered an asset
  • Experience working in a customer service role or in a clinical setting considered an asset
  • Experience working in an occupational health clinic considered an asset
