Dz Fuel/Propane Truck Driver

The Lucknow District Co-operative Inc has an opening for an Energy Driver and Agronomy Services employee.

This is a full-time position with benefits.

Summary

Under the direction of the Energy Manager and Agronomy Manager, the Energy Driver & Agronomy Services employee will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of propane and fuel and providing agronomy products to our Customers.

Main Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of and the ability to safely operate single or tandem axle trucks,

multi-axle configuration trucks for delivery and/or pick-up of energy and/or agronomy products

and other equipment as required.

• Upholds the highest standards of safety in the delivery of propane or fuels to end use containers

while providing exceptional customer service.

• Aids with crop production inputs to fields and growing crops according to recommended rates, procedures and following all pesticide labels.

Education and Experience

• Must have and maintain a valid Ontario DZ driver’s license with a clean driver's abstract & minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
• Must be insurable by the company’s insurance provider without restrictions or surcharge.

The Lucknow District Co-operative Inc. is located on Huron County Road #1, south of Lucknow, was established in 1944 and is owned by more than 1,800 local people. The co-operative provides customers of Huron and Bruce Counties with livestock feed, agronomy products and services, consumer goods, including hardware and clothing, petroleum and propane products and services. It is a shareholder-owner of GROWMARK, Inc. and markets products and services under the FS banner.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
