Park Play Early Learning Center is a non-profit organization that operates a new 90-space Center located in the Rosewood neighborhood in Regina. We are currently hiring a permanent full-time Childhood Educator. The successful applicants must have at least 1 year of experience with an Early Childhood Education Certificate or Diploma.
Responsibilities:
This position will enhance the curriculum and the children's learning in many ways, in both planned and spontaneous play, by implementing activities and following the interests of the children between 18 months and 5 years old.
Planning and implementing an enriched Early Learning Program, focused on the individual needs and interests of the children.
Maintaining ongoing positive interactions with the children during classroom activities on an individual, small, or large group basis.
Using various strategies to guide children's developmental skills by policies and procedures as set out in applicable regulations and standards.
Planning, organizing, and facilitating family education and family/child groups that reflect the needs and interests of the families.
Promote well-being, encourage growth and development in children, and respect each child's uniqueness and individual needs.
It provides a safe environment that maintains orderly, clean, and appealing facilities, removing known and potential safety hazards.
ECE Level I/II/III
Certification in Standard First Aid and CPR-C, Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check
A sound theoretical and practical understanding of typical child development
A solid understanding of the Play and Exploration Curriculum
Excellent communication skills
