Working knowledge of child development, extending play and applying same for the good of children's development;
Solid organizational skills will be reflected in the presentation of planning, your work space, and general housekeeping in the work environment.
A strong ability to communicate positively and work as a member of a team.
Creativity is highly valued especially if it can be integrated with making tools to add fun and variety to enhance children's learning experiences.

- Provide supervision and guidance of daily activities, field trips and special activities
- Prepare progress reports and discuss with parents and other staff members

- Knowledge of licensing regulations

- Maintain day care supplies and equipment     - - Assist in housekeeping duties
- Assist in maintaining records of children
- Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings
- Experience with Children Who Have Special Needs; physical disability, intellectual disability, behavioral issues and children with a mental health disability
