Alberta Child Care Certification - Level 1, 2 and 3 positions available.
In need of Full Time Staff between our operating hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm
8 hour shifts available
Full Time (40 hours a week)
Perks available after one year of employment (Birthday off with pay, reimbursement for CPR, First aid and Criminal Record Checks)
4 PD days per year.
Closed for all Stat holidays. Closed one week in August. Closed one week in December.
*Must have current first aid and cpr, criminal record check that includes the vulnerable sector search from the last 6 months, and Alberta child care staff certification

Duties:
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities.
- Provide a nurturing and supportive environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members
- Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive curriculum
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child.
-Complete learning stories and pedagogical documentation on a continuous basis.
-Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
- Secondary education in Early Childhood Education or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience working with children in an early learning setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and practices
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in computer operation
- Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities
- Fluency in English language
