Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children in the Early Childhood education program.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn, play, and grow.
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging educational experiences.
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and observations.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's development and any concerns or achievements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in Early Childhood education.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that promote learning and development.
- Familiarity with special education strategies and techniques is desirable.
- Proficiency in computer applications related to educational programs is an asset.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
