BridgeGreen Capital Inc. (BCI) is a Family Office which provides a range of professional services, including wealth management, tax planning, personal development and philanthropy to a client family. We are looking to add a Manager to our team, who may work remotely and will report through BCI. This role offers invaluable experience in the areas of angel investing and entrepreneurship for a nascent family-based early-stage angel capital fund comprised of investors who are committed to investing in the future of entrepreneurship and innovation. With investors across North America, the fund strives to realize attractive financial returns, while strengthening intergenerational bonds and educating the next generation of the client family on becoming astute investors.

The selected candidate will be responsible for establishing a network in the angel ecosystem, generating a pipeline of quality deal flow, deal sourcing and screening, supporting the client family in the investment decision-making process, and monitoring and reporting on portfolio company developments. The selected candidate will also be responsible for sourcing opportunities for further education for the investors.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Develop and manage the fund’s pipeline of deal flow.
• Source new early-stage investments, including meeting with founders and entrepreneurs and attending relevant conferences and networking events.
• Build a deep network of industry partners and develop synergistic relationships in the angel ecosystem.
• Develop the brand and strategic positioning of the fund to raise awareness within the angel ecosystem, building the foundation for deal syndication.
• Support the investors at every step of the investment decision-making process.
• Maintain regular communication with the investors, including reporting on portfolio company developments.
• Find educational and mentorship opportunities for the investors.

IDEAL EXPERIENCE PROFILE

• Minimum 3 years’ experience working with an incubator, accelerator, angel group, or other start-up ecosystem
• Strong business development background
• Excellent organizational skills with a “self-starter” mentality
• Experience working with entrepreneurs
• Proficient with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
