The Role:

As the Manager of Product Information, you will lead a dynamic team responsible for driving operational excellence and growth within Product Information and Asset functions in our eCommerce and omni-channel environment. Your experience in process improvement and strong project management skills paired with hands-on leadership will be pivotal in shaping our success.

This is a hybrid role based at MEC's HO in Vancouver and expect this role will require someone to be in the office 2 days a week.

What you'll be doing:

  • Plan seasonal work, ensuring timelines and resourcing allow for new season launches upon inventory arrivals.
  • Prioritize weekly work, track performance, and measure progress toward objectives.
  • Dive into the week-to-week work, play a hands-on role and take a team-oriented approach to completing work
  • Collaborate closely with team members to address their needs and deliver results.
  • Identify and prioritize inefficiencies, enhancements, and fixes to drive continuous process improvement, supporting business growth.
  • Make upstream improvements while constantly helping teams deliver current workloads.
  • Drive a quality assurance, ensuring a high level of accuracy and quality in product information sitewide
  • Work seamlessly across functions to improve process, service delivery, communication, and expectation setting.
  • Act as a resource and mentor for the team, guiding them in project management, time management, and cross-functional collaboration and negotiation.
  • Lead the search and project manage the delivery of new technologies and systems that will improve operational efficiency.
  • Identify and execute new business opportunities that align with our strategic goals.
  • Strategize and structure the team for eCommerce expansion.

What you bring:

  • 3+ years in eCommerce Operations, preferably in a leadership capacity and with a direct-to-consumer retailer or brand
  • 5+ years in a people leadership role
  • A strong understanding of modern eCommerce content management systems and supporting workflows
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including a track record of handling multiple tasks and projects at a time, prioritizing workload, effectively delegating and thriving in a dynamic and complex environment.
  • Understanding of agile workflows.
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams to drive execution against project goals and deliverables.
  • Analytical with the ability to identify and track key performance metrics and make data-informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in identifying and improving operational workflows.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

The Compensation & Perks

The anticipated annual base salary range of this role is $90,000 to $110,000. The exact salary will be dependent on the successful candidate’s relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. This role is eligible for our annual variable incentive plan.
