Adecco is pleased to present a remarkable opportunity for a highly qualified candidate to join our esteemed client, a member of the Assembly of First Nations, as a full-time Education and Language Revitalization Manager in Gold River, BC. In this capacity, you will play a key role in overseeing the comprehensive operations of the education, recreation, and Language departments, including supervision of program staff. - Pay Rate: $95,000 - $105,000 / hour.

- Relocation assistance is provided, if not presently a resident of Gold River, BC.
- First three months of accommodation are provided

- Work with and alongside the School District, NIC, FNESC, FPCC to ensure adequate programming is being delivered.
- Write and submit grant proposals to secure additional funding.
- Reporting to FNESC or FPCC when additional funding has been applied for.
- Develop and implement various networking strategies designed to promote and raise awareness for the First Nation Education programming.
- Oversee all Educational programs including Language, Recreation, Preschool and Daycare staff including hiring, retention, and performance management.
- Meet with parents as required to address any grievances.
- Carry out regular reporting on activities, information, and evaluations on programs and accompanying recommendations, as required.
- Post Secondary degree or diploma in Education, Social Sciences, Psychology, or a related field is required. Master’s degree (M.Sc.) is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in a First Nation or provincial education or school setting.
- Valid Driver's license
- RCMP clearance not older than one year, in addition to a Vulnerable Sector check.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented learning environment.
