SalaryEducational Aides – Apprentice Tutors
We currently have a need for Specialized Tutors with subject matter expertise in Aviation, Automotive, Plumbing, Welding, and Electrical/Electrical Engineering Trades and Apprenticeships.
Please note that this is an Independent Contractor position and is renewable each year.
Experience supporting students and/or individuals with disabilities, including mental health disabilities, is an asset.
Hours per week may vary; Specialized Tutor and student provides availability. Daytime availability for tutoring is ideal, but not required. A diploma and/or degree in a relevant subject area is required.
Successful completion of a current Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) is required.

Educational Aides work as contractors for Fanshawe College assisting students with disabilities in various ways. We contract with individuals who are not current students or employees of the College.
Specialized Tutors have knowledge and experience in the field in which they are tutoring. Tutors meet with students outside of class time to review lessons that have been taught by the professor in class.
Candidates need to live in/near London, and/or Woodstock, ON to tutor on-site/nearby as required. Experience offering remote tutoring assistance with Zoom/Skype or a related program is an asset.
