The Opportunity:
The Elder Youth Mentorship Program Coordinator will plan and implement Programming, events and services. Assignments may include program oversight, consumer identification, and community collaboration with chief and council members, Elders and Knowledge holders.

  • Cooperative development and implementation of recreational, cultural support, and programing for youth
  • Organize and facilitate training events as assigned
  • Provide educational opportunities for at risk youth in the following areas - health and wellness, addictions, family violence, abuse, self-esteem and culture and traditions

What You Will Bring to The Role:

  • Excellent group facilitation and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience working in a leadership capacity with at-risk and high-risk youth
  • Graduate of a post-secondary program in Child and Youth Care, Social Work, or a related field
