By applying global scale with local expertise, we shape and support global trends, deliver excellence for customers and power a sustainable future for society. go.abb/electrification In this position, you will be the expert in delivering competitive bids, estimates and quotes to customers for medium voltage apparatus products focusing on Distribution Solutions in Canada.In this role your attention to detail and ability to coordinate with multiple channel partners will be vital to this key component of providing accurate product solutions.
Your responsibilities
- Provide product solutions, technical support.
- Ensure timely and accurate creation of tender documents through coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Address commercial and technical customer inquiries.
- Prepare proposals in response to customer requests using quotation tools.
- Contribute to an effective, positive customer relationship throughout the sales process.
- Create, maintain, and follow up on opportunities in Salesforce.
- Examine and report on the results of tenders and identify areas for improvement to increase success
Your background
- Technologist diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- Ability to interpret single line diagrams.
- Knowledge of medium voltage products (circuit breakers, load break switches, instrument transformers, sensors, outdoor cutouts and reclosers, protection relays etc)
- Knowledge of Salesforce, SAP, & ERP Platforms is an asset.
- Demonstrate high level of initiative, quick learning, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously with a collaborative, solution-focused approach.
- Strong customer focus
- Recommended 2 years of relevant experience in the Canadian utility, industrial and OEM markets.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
