Your responsibilities will include:
- As a License C Electrician, you'll be responsible for installing new electrical equipment. You'll have to read and interpret blueprints and schematics, using these documents as a basis for installing new systems according to their specifications. Mastery of electrical codes and regulations is crucial.
- Your role will also involve reading and interpreting technical plans and drawings, and once you've identified a problem, you'll be responsible for repairing and testing equipment to ensure safe use by employees.
- An important part of your responsibilities will be to maintain the equipment by carrying out routine checks on the electrical systems. If repairs are needed, you may have to order new parts for existing equipment.
- In addition, you'll be required to write detailed reports for all repairs, replacements and installations of electrical systems. This precise documentation will help us keep track of the work carried out.
What we are looking for:
- You have a college diploma or DEP.
- You have License C electrical certification.
- Thorough knowledge of local electrical codes and standards. Proven work experience as a maintenance electrician.
- You will be able to come to the plant to make repairs in the event of a sudden breakdown of the entire electrical system, including the building. (7/24, to be discussed in detail before hiring)
