Electromechanical Supervisor

Job Title: Supervisor of the Elecrtomechanics team

A growing global company located in the east end of Montreal is growing, and looking for a supervisor to join the day shift. NOTE: the person could be on call after hours if there should be urgencies with any machines.

Duties:

• Supervise a team of electromechanics and ensure that they are meeting performance goals and objectives
• Manage the maintenance of the machines. work on preventative measures
• Provide guidance, coaching, and training to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
• Monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing feedback and addressing any performance issues
• Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
• Oversee inventory of spare parts, and work with procurement
• Have a continuous improvement mindset
• Work with health and safety, making sure it is enforced

Skills:

Strong knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software

2 years supervisory experience

• 3+ years as an electromechanical or similar role with mechanical knowledge
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French
• Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, motors, gearboxes, filters
• Knowledge of industrial maintenance practices and procedures
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines

Salary: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
