Emergent Vision Technologies Inc. is looking for Operations Assemblers to support accurate preparation, placement, and installation of electronic and mechanical components.
What you will do:
- Ensure operational process properly followed in accordance with production, logistics workflow.
- Production and Manual assembly of electronic components including complex and accurate parts according to assembly procedures, custom specs, and quality standards.
- Perform hand soldering and test, mixed assemblies, and custom parts.
- Mechanical and electronic assembly as required including component preparation, placement, and installation.
- Final assembly and/or pack and ship as required.
- Conduct repair/touch up/modifications on the products as required.
- Be able to work on different aspects of the manufacturing operations.
- Participate in training and certification programs to ensure job knowledge and skills set.
- Participate in all team level quality improvement initiatives, 5s, and safety procedures
- Other duties as required.
What you should have:
- 2 years experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- 2 years experience in manual soldering is required.
- Knowledge of standards in electronic components handling is required.
- Familiar with Lean principles would be an asset.
- Basic Excel experience is required.
- Strong communication skills and a team player
- Ability to work independently and as a team player.
