Eligibility Coordinator

Reporting to the Supervisor of Child Care and Early Years, the Eligibility Coordinator has the responsibility of interviewing applicants and assessing financial eligibility to qualify for subsidized day care, in accordance with policies and regulations of the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014. This is a contract opportunity until December 31, 2024 with possible extension.

Qualifications:

· Post Secondary education in Social Sciences or related human services field.

· Two or more years related casework experience.

· Proven organizational and time management abilities required.

· Knowledge of and ability to operate computers.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills.

· Ability to work effectively with families, public and other professional organizations.

· Valid drivers license and access to reliable vehicle.

· Experienced in budget administration.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 8 months

Salary: $33.50-$37.72 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
