Manager, Game Day Operations & Events

Summary

Reporting to the Manager, Game Day Operations & Events, the Bag Check Attendant is responsible for collecting, storing, and returning bags and oversized items dropped off by guests to Commonwealth Stadium for all Edmonton Elks Home Games. With accurate organization, the Bag Check Attendant will provide efficient and prompt customer service to all guests before, during and after each game.

Job Responsibilities & Duties

· Communicate and assist guests with the Bag Check process in a friendly and positive manner.

· Accurately collect payment, managing and tracking receipts and claim vouchers.

· Organize bags within the numerical order system.

· Return bags and oversized items using the numerical order system to guests in a friendly and efficient manner.

· Maintain a clean and organized working environment.

· Accurately complete paperwork referring to lost or stolen articles.

· Build and maintain relationships with management and team members.

· Additional duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications & Skills:

· Strong customer service skills

· Excellent verbal communication skills coupled with strong conflict, resolution, and problem-solving skills.

· Able to work efficiently, independently and as part of a team.

· Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage a variable workload.

· Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and organization.

· Able to stand and lift bags repeatedly over the course of a shift.

· Ability to lift 50lbs.

· Passion for football, sports, and the Edmonton community.

· A valid Criminal Record check is required for this position.

Schedule:

- Day/Evening/Weekend/Holidays

- May 25th, June 8th, June 14th, July 14th, July 28th, August 11th, September 7th, September 21st, October 5th, October 25th
