- Work with subject matter experts to develop and document policies, procedures, and processes for the Canada Task Force 2 (CAN-TF2) program.
- Advance program priorities related to the All-Hazards Incident Management Team and Heavy Urban Search and Rescue capabilities.
- Lead post-incident and post-exercise after action reviews and assist in the development and implementation.
- Work closely with the Canada Task Force 2 leadership, staff, and members on other programs and projects.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a diploma or degree program in Emergency Management, Public Safety, Public Policy, or a related field.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.
- Intermediate proficiency in ArcGIS and SharePoint would be considered an asset.
- Experience or knowledge in Emergency Management, emergency response services, and/or urban search and rescue will be considered assets.
- Success in this position requires self-awareness, personal accountability, results orientation, strong communication skills, the ability to build strong working relationships, and the ability to develop written policy and processes.
Pre-Employment Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in school on a full-time basis with the intent to return to school full-time in the Fall of 2024.
- An enhanced security clearance will be conducted.
