Emergency Vehicle Technician - 310T

Carrier Emergency Vehicles is looking for a licensed technician to join our team! This opportunity allows the right individual to expand their career into the exciting world of fire and emergency services.

The job entails:

· Diagnosing issues and making necessary repairs on fire trucks, ambulances and other Emergency Vehicles

· Performing annual testing on fire trucks and related equipment

· Working with customers in their facilities to ensure that vehicles are performing properly and able to respond to emergency situations

· Maintaining accurate records

· Performing Pre-Delivery Inspections on new vehicles and readying them for delivery to emergency service organizations

· Maintaining a safe and professional work environment

The ideal candidate will bring with them:

· 310T license in good standing

· Ability to problem solve and “think on their feet” while working independently

· Good communications and interpersonal skills

· Excellent customer service abilities

· DZ driver’s license

· Ability to travel outside of Canada for the purposes of occasional training

· The ability to travel extensively within the province and participate in a rotating on-call schedule

· Emergency service knowledge or experience

Salary: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
