POSITION DESCRIPTION:

As an Energy efficiency coordinator, you assist the Energy Efficiency Director in activities related to the department such as planning, coordination and implementation of initiatives aimed at improving the Energy efficiency of Cogir's real estate portfolio. Your role will consist of analyzing energy consumption, validating energy saving reports, evaluating existing systems in buildings, assisting in the management of Energy efficiency projects, raising employee awareness and ensuring the monitoring of the results obtained according to the expected targets.


ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of Energy efficiency projects with the client and stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement awareness and training programs for employees to promote efficient energy practices according to ESG criteria.
  • Evaluate the energy systems used in the building, and recommend more energy efficient solutions, where appropriate.
  • Identify deviations from set objectives and recommend adjustments to improve results.
  • Perform detailed analyzes of energy consumption, identifying trends, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Update and monitor energy performance indicators, analyze energy consumption data and assess the impact of the measures taken.
  • Validate the results presented in the energy savings reports in order to reconcile the realized and planned energy savings of the control period.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Dec in building mechanics with 1 year of experience in a relevant field
  • Previous experience in the field of Energy efficiency, project management or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of Energy efficiency regulations and standards (considered an asset).
  • Knowledge of software such as Retscreen, Excel, Power BI (considered assets)
